Terms of Use

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Yoodle website at yoodle.ca and the Yoodle app for iPhone (together, "Yoodle"). Yoodle is operated by ROKEDGE INC ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Yoodle, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Yoodle.

1. What Yoodle Is

Yoodle is a free community platform where neighbours post odd jobs, offer help, and message each other. We do not charge fees and we are not part of any agreement between users. We do not employ helpers, supervise work, check backgrounds, or guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any job, helper or poster.

2. Who Can Use Yoodle

3. Community Rules

Yoodle has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Breaking these rules can get your content removed and your account suspended or permanently removed without warning.

You must not post, send or do any of the following on Yoodle:

4. Reporting and Blocking

We aim to review reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these Terms, we remove it and may suspend or permanently remove the user who posted it.

If you are in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number first.

5. Your Content

You own what you post: jobs, profile details, messages and ratings. By posting it, you give us permission to store, display and deliver it to other users so Yoodle can work. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep records for safety or legal reasons. You are responsible for what you post, and it must be accurate and follow these Terms. We may remove any content that we believe breaks these Terms.

6. Jobs, Payments and Safety

7. Suspension and Account Deletion

We may suspend or remove your account, or remove your content, at any time if you break these Terms or if we need to protect users or Yoodle. You can delete your account at any time in the app: go to Profile → Delete my account.

8. Disclaimers

Yoodle is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure, or that you will find a job or a helper. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for the actions, content or work of any user, or for any dispute between users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or injury arising from jobs, services, meetings or payments between users. Because Yoodle is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to CAD $100. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

11. iPhone App

If you use Yoodle on iPhone, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Yoodle or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new Terms on this page with an updated date, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continued use of Yoodle after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
